Conservation Photography

Until I found myself in the Amazon, I did not fully grasp the gravity that a single picture can hold. By the time I left the forest, I had seen logging, poaching, drug trafficking and gold mining happening in places I had regarded as sacred and untouched. I realized that I needed to find a way to show people what was happening in the Amazon and other threatened ecosystems.

Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of working alongside passionate local people, researchers, students and universities to create the programs we are implementing in Peru. Every image I share is part of the story of Earth during the Anthropocene.
